我自己也遇到了这种情况。问题是rmagick 2.12.2与ImageMagick 6.8或更高版本不兼容。来自rmagick 2.13.2的更新日志:

    o Fixed issues preventing RMagick from working with version 6.8 or higher

如果你必须使用旧版本的rmagick，那么你必须降级ImageMagick。在我的例子中，我只有四行代码来进行一些简单的图像大小调整和格式转换，所以我从rmagick切换到image_magick。它还使用ImageMagick库，因此它具有相同的功能，但它是库的纯ruby包装器，因此它似乎可以与ImageMagick 6.4到6.8之间的任何版本一起工作，可能还有更大的版本范围。该API与rmagick非常相似，但并不完全相同。
